Saffron water

Safranvand

  1. Put saffron and sugar in a mortar.
  2. Grind it finely.
  3. Pour the spirits in.
  4. Shake carefully, so it is mixed together. Hold the mortar down to the table while it is shaken.

  3. Hæld spiritus i.
  4. Ryst forsigtigt, så det blandes sammen. Hold morteren ned på bordet mens den rystes.

NB! Saffron water is very yellow and staining. Be careful to not splash or spill it.

NB! Safranvand er meget gult og farvende. Pas på ikke at stænke eller spilde det.

Powdered saffron is said to be a viable substitute for saffron water.

Safran i pulverform kan efter sigende bruges istedet for safranvand.
