Easter problem

easter problem

The solution consists of normal decimal integers. It is an easter problem I gave to my oldest niece one year. It is quite tough, but she got her easter egg.

Really the tradition here is that children write gækkebreve, that they send to grandparents, aunts, uncles, close friends of the family... The gækkebreve are signed with dots. One per letter in the senders name. The grown ups that cannot guess who the gækkebrev is from (or who dont like to guess it), owes the sender an easter egg.

But that is too easy and it is fake. Back when families had more children, and uncles had 5-10 more nephews and nieces, it probably worked better. But alas we have settled on doing easter problems instead.

Gækkebrev. Gækkebrev.
