Diagonal envelope

The Diagonal envelope is a simple and practical origami envelope. Here you can see how to fold it.

The Diagonal envelope can be folded with many different sizes of paper. The dimensions of the envelope depends mostly on the paper size you use, but also on how you fold it.

This practice sheet has helpful preprinted folding lines. You might find it easier to follow than the instructions above.

Print PDF double sided (duplex, long-edge binding). If you print PNG you have to print the same paper sheet two times. Print results can vary between different print setups. Printing is like that. If you have problems with edges of the print not aligning with the edges of the paper, try to print a reduced size (like 60%), and trim the paper afterwards.
