Bacon and brussels sprouts
Bacon and brussels sprouts (1 serving)
- frying fats
- 75 g bacon cubes
- 200 g brussels sprouts
- 1/2 dl coarsely chopped nuts
- salt
- Put frying fats on a pan, set the heat to medium.
- Put bacon on the pan.
- Cut brussels sprouts in halves.
- Put brussels sprouts on the pan.
- Mix it intermittently.
- Continue when the bacon and the brussels sprouts has some color.
- Chop the nuts coarsely.
- Mix in nuts and salt.
- Continue after 10 minutes.
- Take the pan off the heat, and discard excess fats.
The proportions does not have to be exact, the dish can be made by eye.
Macadamia nuts or almonds are good for this. Or you can leave them out if you dont have any, or you dont want them.
